MuseMatrix is a decentralised science (DeSci) Fellowship and Incubator.
It is aimed at scientists and developers not familiar with DeSci who want to solve big, complex problems in science.
If you don't know what DeSci is: In short, DeSci is a movement attempting to address the various pain points in science (anything from how funding is allocated, how IP ownership works, the process of publication/peer review, and more). It uses blockchain as “Lego block” tooling to restructure, from the ground-up, how science is conducted.
MuseMatrix started after a realisation that there needs to be more spaces where web3 developers and scientists have repeated, prolonged interactions so they can cross-pollinate ideas. Whilst meetups and conferences are good, they are not long nor deep enough to move the needle. A different “space” is necessary for this.
This is why MuseMatrix is needed.
We are launching our inaugural cohort (an IRL cohort in London and a URL cohort globally) where we will provide teaching, support and guidance to help Fellows solve big problems in science.
